What this site is about
This site is quite simply a place for me to talk about things that I find interesting, that I feel strongly about or think has some sort of value. The subject matter will be predominately music related, as that is the thing I am most passionate about. But it is possible I could talk about a host of other things like historical research, genealogy, motorcycles, and maybe some current events (although I doubt that will come up much as it can be rather divisive). Everything here is simply the view and opinion of a average, middle-aged male from the Midwest. Nothing more.
About Me
So, A little about me. I was born and raised and lived in the Midwest (St. Louis/Metro-East area and now live in Kansas). I joined the U.S. Army and served in the Republic of South Korea in the mid-1980’s and received an honorable discharge. I am married, have three children (two boys and a girl), ad work full time as an IT Business Systems Analyst for the USDA.
I have been a musician since I was 12 years old and have played in numerous bands over the years. I have recorded some music with other groups as well as on my own. I am currently involved with five active music projects as well as continuing to grow as a musician.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in History (Cum Laude) and love to research and learn about all facets of history, including genealogical research.
