Right?
What to say? What not to say?
Well, first, thanks for reading. I appreciate it. I plan on really only blogging when I feel like I have something worth saying, and in this case, I just completed my first work of fiction. That’s worth saying (at least I think so).
I plan on solely publishing in e-book format and, for obvious reasons, have started with Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing). Pretty straight-forward and definitely opens things up to a wide audience.
I wrote the book originally using Scrivener, however, it was a nightmare trying to figure that application out and get the e-book formatted properly. I ended up going with Reedsy Editor. Talk about making things easy! The final format for ePub turned out great, highly readable and with minimal effort.
So, a little about my first book – The Godless Machine.
I got the idea from reading a post on Reddit where someone responded to a question that “what if God left? What if God He left and went and populated other places and basically said ‘yeah, I’m done with them.'”
That got me thinking and, as a fan of Jeremy Robinson, I decide to try and write something like he does based around that. I decided on a novella since this was my first shot at something like this and I honestly feel pretty good about the finished product.
It should show up on Amazon any day now and I hope you’ll check it out! (I’ll post a link here once it goes active).
The last thing is I also write little short stories from time to time. Things about history, space and time, reality, and existentialism. I hope you’ll check them out as well.
OK, enough for now. Thanks again for stopping by!
