Reviews and suggestions

I learned a lesson.

I quickly threw together an idea I had for a novel, created an outline and then ran my ideas against ChatGPT. The result was… well not good. I thought it was, but after having friends and family review it and tell me it was hard to follow and not very cohesive, I removed it from Amazon and will either send it back to the drawing board or (more likely) move on to some other topics I have in mind.

The biggest complaint was it was way too technical and the average person would not understand the references and the connections. That, along with it coming across very disjointed made me realize I need to not rush things and use AI to proofread and assist in choosing a readable text.

So, I am evaluating my ideas I have in my electronic note app (which is called Joplin… it’s awesome) and will most likely push out a few short story ideas I have until something grabs my attention for a novel that is me and will appeal to more than a niche group of people.

“The Godless Machine” got some nice reviews so far from family and friends. I would be interested in reading more.  Thanks!
